I was wondering where Onda was with their own Telechips player, for a moment i even thought they would take a bold step and not join the rest of the crowd with a Telechips player, but i was proved wrong. At least their Telechips player will bring Onda back into making touch screen based players.

There really isn’t much information about the player, but truthfully we only really need to know what it would look like, which the above image helps to visualize. As for specs, well it will be like any other Telechips player, it will support a vast amount of video formats and be able to support decoding of upto 1080p videos and will have HDMI out for 1080p video out. As for the UI, it will probably either resemble the Chuwi P7L or the RAmos T11TE (or possible something in between).

No release date or pricing, but if i were to guess, i would say that it will be out soon after Chinese New Year and probabaly priced around the same as the RAmos T11TE.
