Onda has yet again recycled another design, today they announced the soon to be released VX777R model. The current renderings show the player to look exactly the same physically and also looks to have the same main menu layout.

I suspect that the VX777R will use the RK2728 media processor, this is an upgrade of the RK2706 chip. The newer chip supports even higher resolution videos, or rather, will playback, even better, the videos you currently have been using on your VX777LE or other RK2706 player.

Expect the player to be released sometime in January 2010 and probably priced around the same as the old VX777LE was.
