The BMorn BM-888 is a new 8GB, 7 inch PMP from China that offers 720p HD out, potentially marred only slightly by the seeming lack of HDMI output.
The TFT display runs at 800 x 480 resolution and the player is powered by Chinachip.
All the usual music and video codecs are supported but there are a couple of interesting perks. The audio has a built in separate dedicated Hi-Fi codec audio decoding chipset and video can play up to 16MB/second.
It supposedly supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista but with a lack of WiFi or Bluetooth it’s hard to see how these would come into play.
Other features include an ebook reader and microSD support up to 32GB.
It measures 195 x 126 x 11mm and weighs 440g.
