Creative have registered their latest initiative at the Patent and Trademark Office, a drag and drop interface with ‘action tabs’ that’ll allow you to swish things around in your palm like a mini Tom Cruise. This tabbed MID/PMP idea is made a little more interesting given that the patent has been assigned to the Creative subsidiary 3DLABS, aka ZiiLABS, the makers of the touchscreen based Zii EGG.
Action tabs may be used for tabbed web browsing but could also branch to other OS elements such as the clipboard or dragging items to various actions.
