French company Archos have been keep expectations high with the upcoming line of Internet tablets but they’ve also got a new line of PMPs on the way, details of which aren’t quite as exciting.
The Archos 2 Vision is “the slider version of the Archos 2” which uses a touch-sensitive horizontal slider on the front that scrolls through libraries and controls the volume.
There’s 8GB and 16GB models (both with microSD slots), a 2 inch 220×176 display, MP3, WMA and AVI playback support, FM tuner and recorder and a pretty low 10 hours of battery life. The whole thing is wrapped up in an 82mmx44mmx9mm case.
