Many people are probably familiar with Gemei's A320, just they probably know it under its rebrand name of the Dingoo A320. Gemei this week released the first confirmed image of their follow player, the A330, by the looks of it, seems to incorportae some of the Gemei X760+ look along with the gamepad layout of the A320. There isn't any information yet on what processor it will use,but I hope it does use the newer Inegeni chipsets. Lets also hope that Gemei release a SDK kit as they did with the A320 model.
Forum member The Warrior Poet has got his Onda VX555HD and has posted quite a detailed review on how he finds his latest toy. TWP explains in his review that the biggest attribute to the player is certainly is ability to play high resolution videos well, a bonus for such a small compact player and he find the audio quality somewhat lacking in comparison to RK2706 based machines, which we also agree on.

Despite some pretty dodgy graphics, this retro-styled MP3 player has a certain charm, not least that its storage capabilities are limited only to the size of your SD card.
That said, with no display trawling through a 4GB card of music could become tiresome pretty quickly.
Still, for a cheap ($22), pretty cool novelty player you could do worse. It's drag and drop USB and has simple control buttons along one side.

When a new MP3 player comes out of China there's a pretty safe bet it's going to be Apple 'inspired'. That's why the On Nike C-32, which looks like the love-child of an Atari 2600 and a Duracell battery, is so strangely refreshing.
Audio support includes MP3, WMA and APE and FLAC Lossless formats, all played through a variety of EQs.
The 1.1 inch OLED screen running at 128 x 64 resolution isn't quite the ideal for the text reader capabilities but the phone book feature, measurements of 66 x 28 x 11mm and 2GB storage all compliment the 139 Yuan ($20) price tag.

Ok, i know, just about everyone and their mother has reported this, but i felt we needed a post too. The video demonstrates a prototype player (we think made by Rockchip themselves) using the new RK2808 chipset and running Google's Android OS. The video does show that the chip can handle android, but it does look to be running a bit sluggish at times, then again its just a prototype and i think they probably just wanted to show that it could handle Android. Second video after the jump.
Hopefully with a bit more work, we will see a better suited device using the RK2808 chip and running Android much smoother, if so an entire new chapter in the Chinese PMP industry will open up, low cost, open OS, internet enabled devices, i for one can't wait to see the first of these type of play
My sample of the T11RK landed on my lap early this morning, i was quite excited all night and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
Now does this player live upto the hype? Well i have been using it for a good 3 hours now and for the most part it is indeed a very nice player, it is off course not perfect there are some bugs in the software (but not that many) and some of the hardware choices that RAmos made could have been better.
Let me just do a quick run down on the hardware. Overall the player is well built, the front frame, although made to look like metal, is infact just plastic with silver paint. The back is also plastic and has RAmos new mumumusic logo engraved all over it, not that bad looking actually.
The player has a nice weight about it, not that heavy and it doesn't
Billed as an e-book reader, the Chinese Tsinghua Tongfang PMC-1200 not only has a pretty nifty 7 inch, 16 million colour LTPS LCD screen but also is happy to read to you and play movies on its more than adequate MP4 specs.
The screen runs at 800 x 480 pixels which should be easy on the eye for reading e-books and text. The reader also supports PDF, PPT, Word documents and other popular formats.
If you're fed up of reading then Microsoft's live reading technology is on hand to read to you in a variety of male and female robotic voices at the push of a button.
On top of these is MP3/MP4 playback, games, FM radio, TV-OUT, a remote control, a clock, a calendar and an alarm clock for the unspecified price on the as yet unrevealed release date.

This video recently showed up on the net, it clearly demonstrates a possible new UI for the Meizu m8, however is this real or a fan-made video, we know that Meizu is overhauling their UI, to make it more unique and less similar to the iPhone. The video does show a far more creative and attractive UI than what is currently on the M8, but something about this just says fan made - maybe because its a little too nice to be real ;)
