Chinese workhorses Newman are back again, this time with their HD A13 PMP.
The 5-inch, 16 million colour ,800 x 480 LTPS touchscreen runs is 16:9 widescreen and supports 720p HD playback as ell as RM, RMBV, AVI and FLV formats. The A13 also comes with a good old fashioned infra-red remote control that could be handy when using the video out (with the output quality apparently comparable to DVD).
Other features include the regular audio supports and TTS (Text To Speech) which reads out text files (unfortunately we’ve not heard the inevitable comedy robot voice that’ll no doubt accompany it).
The A13 comes in 8GB and 16GB sizes.
