Rockchip Electronics’ RK2808 processor is capable of supporting Android on a mobile phone and looks to be the first of many from the budget chip makers.
Known for their chips that help make Chinese PMPs up to scratch, Rockchip are due to release more Android-ready and more powerful chips in July and again in October which should even things out between the big names and the imports.
