Rockchip have made a new baby, imaginatively titled the “nano” !!!, this is basically a chip designed for small MP3 players only, so they must see a market there still.
This will go head to head with the current top favorite chip from sigmatel that powers many of the current crop of Chinese (and other) mp3 only players.
Any way this chip can boost battery life, play protected content with EEC data protection to apparently reduce memory errors and expand memroy life
