The T-01A – Japan’s Toshiba TG01 with Snapdragon Chipset
Engadget have broken news on “one of the hottest pieces of gear this year” becoming available in Japan. The NTT DoCoMo T-01A is the same device Toshiba have previously unveiled as the TG01.
The T-01A is less than a centimetre thick and runs Qualcomm’s acclaimed 1GHz Snapdragon chipset. It also sports a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen, HSDPA, GPS and WiFi and Toshiba’s custom-built UI masks the Windows Mobile 6.1 core.
No release dates have yet been set outside of Japan.
