Summer’s here so it’s time to crack out the old sunnies. If you’re going to leave the silver wrap-arounds in the closet this year you can instead go for Oakley’s T-Pain Split Thump MP3 Sunglasses. Handily the speakers detach to make them look semi-normal and the lenses are built with glare reduction and 100% UV protection.
They’re not much of a departure from their last model but carry the name and two tracks from US rapper T-Pain. These can of course be deleted and replaced with 1GB of your own music. They are ‘available soon’ and will cost US$329.
Incidentally one loaded track, “Freeze”, features Chris Brown. Will he be sporting a pair while litter-collecting for community service this summer? Keep an eye on the gossip sites to find out.
