Sahpr – the bastard son of Sharp – introduces the S600 HD player
Now we know that China can be pretty blatant in their lack of respect for intellectual property rights, but we were thoroughly amused by Sahpr boldness, not only do they mimic phonetically the same name as the popular Sharp brand but even their logo looks like the original Sharp logo, just cutup and the letters rearranged. We are going to assume that Sahpr are not in anyway affiliated with Sharp.
We are assuming the suit above is highest ranking exec at Sahpr that is willing to be photographed (and in future be a possible whipping boy for a copyright lawsuit) along with Sahpr very own malnutritioned spokesperson.
Well Sahpr also looks to be joining the HD band wagon and adding the S600, which will be using the CC1600 media chip, allowing for high resolution video playback on a 5.0″ screen with a 800 x 480 resolution.
