The new Onda VX535HD uses the latest Ingenic chipset, the CC1600, which claims to run at an astonishing 1.6Ghz, more than 3 times the clock speed of any previous China media chip. The VX535HD is a fantastic video player, the powerful chipset allows for near perfect video playback for videos that are upto a high resolution of 1280x720, so it can be considered as support 720p HD video quality.
What compliments the players media chip is the 800 x 480 resolution screen, almost twice the resolution that we are normally accustomed to on similar sized players. This allows for videos to look even more sharp and clearer than previously seen before.
There is no doubt that as a video player, the VX535HD is quite capable of taking on any major brand media player and in most cases, leaving them i
Finally got round to doing the Hacha PC90 video review a few days ago and only had time to post it up today. Enjoy the video review, if you take anything away from the video review just know the screen on this player rocks, i can't really say that this player is good for anything else, mainly due to the cumbersome UI, but its compact and stylish looks, make this a very nice and good looking player, good for video use.

Get one today 8GB and 16GB
Do you have a player that runs on the Ingenic JZ47xx chipset, like the Onda VX747, 757, 767, 777 or the Ainol V2000, never been too impressed with the audio quality on them, well forum member dude0316 has found a great combination for the custom eq that will enchance the overall quality of the audio. I would recommend taking a look at this EQ setting if your still using your ingeic JZ47xx based player for audio purposes.

Video review of the new Meizu M8, bit rushed when i was doing it and only had 10 minutes to cover everything. Will do more a few more videos later showing off other functions.
Overall its a nice phone, but its music and video playback quality is a bit dissapointing when you compare to other MP4 Players.

There was much hype about the SciPhone G2, most of it due to the makers of the phone claiming that it would run Android, which would have made it the first Chinese phone to run Android and only second to the T-Mobile G1 to run the Open Source OS. However we found out not too long ago that infact the phone did not run Android but ran a new version of the OS that runs most China made CECT phones but its interface had been made to look like that of Android.
I have used this phone and confirm it does not run Android, the overall UI is very slick, much nicer than most CECT phones, Java program work well, the touch screen is responsive and the overall UI looks very clean and slick. Its a real shame that the makers of this phone choose to just rip off the look of Android, clearly they took the
Today i got sent to me a Meizu M8 from a supplier within China. I will snap a lot more pics and videos shortly.
Just to give my quick summary on it, its a very stylish phone, light weight and certainly not cheap feeling. Overall the phone quality is very good, great reception, but i have not been able to get GPRS to work as i don't have my carriers settings and Wifi works great, used it in a starbucks, web browsing is cool.
Video playback is disappointing, RK2706 players have better video performance and the M8 can't play anything higher than its screen res, anything higher and videos will not play properly.
Audio is very good, loud speaker is very nice, sort fine, scrolling is nice, show album art (no cover flow), multiple playlist support.
Apps load well, got ScummVM to run,
A UK based mp4 player you ask ,,well apparently .. yes, and they claim its made in the UK too
One big problem though ... damn its ugly
The company is MCH and they have put together several models, some touch screen, some rotate display .. all are ugly as heck though im afraid, i an from the UK and i champion home grown products, its rare nowadays, but man, please hire a graphic designer for this baby as at the moment it looks like its designed for babies
