MP4 makers in China are just churning out these new HD - CC1600 media chip based players out like theres no tomorrow, forum member Chengdude has informed us that Chuwi has announced their new M20 player. We suspect that its probably the equivalent of the Onda VX767HD and the Ainol V6000HDB, where the screen won't be a 4.3" 800x480 resolution panel, but the more standard 4.3" 480x272 resolution panel.

Forum member Da_Tinker has been nice enough to make a demo on how to place a screen protector properly on a MP4 Player, in this case the Nationite OS-43. This is quite a useful demonstration as there are certainly a lot of people who buy screen protectors and then end up placing them wrongly, either making the screen look worse or having to throw the protector away. Any of those interested in getting some custom screen protectors, checkout our Mofi protectors for MP4 Players.

The Teclast M36 looks to use the same Slide Navigation System that the Nationite OS-43/M55 is using, but unlike the OS-43, the M36 will only have a 3.0" screen, but it will also offer digital TV reception, but for now it will only work with the China DVB standard of CMMB.
The M36 looks to be powered with the Rockchip RK2706B media chip and capable of playing multiple audio and video file formats in a high resolution. Expect this player to be out pretty soon in China.

I'll admit that i was quite tired when i made this video review. The phone, overall, if you can look past the irony of knocking of the look and feel of an open source OS, isn't that bad. It has a far nicer GUI than other CECT phones and overall has a nicer build quality to it. I think people will be quite happy with this phone, just because the GUI isn't as rough around the edges and is actually good looking (be it ripped off).
MP4 Nation will have this phone for sale priced at about $165 or less.
** Again this does not run on Google Android, it is only simulating a similar GUI - none of the added features of abilities of Android are found on the G2 **

RAmos has just released some very nice images of their new T9 player. Some interesting things the images do point out, one thing being that the screen will be the first to use a WVGA panel, we have been previously been seen WQVGA panels on MP4 players and it was the RAmos RM980 that really had the first WQVGA panel on a major MP4 player, not surprising that RAmos again is the first to implement aq WVGA screen on an MP4 Player.
Lets hope this player meets the hype, check the rest of the images out

The guys over at Zol have stripped down the new Onda VX535HD to its bare bones, you can pretty much expect most of the current players using the new Ingenic CC1600 media chip to be pretty similar.

We got our first sample unit of the Onda VX545HD this morning and what can i say, shes one big beauty, overall her size is (obviously) larger than anything we have sold before, in comparison to 4.3" screen, the VX545HD does loom over them, but it doesn't dwarf them. The player, big, is still surprisingly portable, but don't expect to carrying in your pocket, this would certainly be something that you may want to carrying in your backpack and would be great in a car. Below is a comparison of size between the VX545HD, VX535HD, Nationite OS-43 and the Ainol V3000HD
The screen is, like the VX535HD, amazing, its 800 x 480 resolution makes images look sharp and crisp, the 16 million color depth allows for images to look vivid and lively. Like we stated previously, the VX545HD is exact
Well it had to happen sooner or later and it seems that popular Chinese PMP maker SmartQ will be first off the blocks with a full on WIFI enabled, web browsing Personal Media Player
Presenting the SmartQ 5 - MID
Now as you can see, this image is nothing but a mock up, but it speaks volumes, basically it says WIFI and mobile web browsing on a Chinese PMP, now all you iPhoners will be wondering whgat all the fuss is about, well it is a big fuss, China has been gaining speed in PMP manufacture and design and this is the next phase
So, not many more details really to talk about here, there is no release date, here is what we know so far
4.3-inch 800 × 480 resolution screen
using full-touch screen operation
Also has 4 hardware keys on the top of the player
built-in Bluetoo
Onda have increased yet again their 2009 product range with another player that looks like all the rest of their range and uses a naming convention designed only to confuse :)
Meet the Onda VX535R
[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="500" caption="onda VX535R"][/caption]
Well as you can see it looks like all their other players, so what has this to offer??
1: High resolution 800x480 pixel depth screen at 4.3", super sharp
2: LTPS 16 million color screen, coupled with the high res this is gonna be a sweet combination
Well those are the major points at the moment, the other big thing is the chip being used, now i think this one bucks the latest Onda trend for the new ChinaChip system in favour of a rockchip, as to which rockchip ... i dont know, cold be the standard 2707/8
