RAmos heats up the competition with add touch screen interface to their upcoming T9 model, this would be the first (announced) player that uses the new ChinaChip/Ingenic 720p chipset that has a touch screen, till now all other 720p player (announced and released) have been been push button based. There really isn't much more details on the touch screen, but most likely it will be resistive based. Expect this player either to be out before Chinese New Year (last week of Jan) or after the first week of Febuary.

well as ever the mp4nation community has come up trumps again with this great little project from new member Lurker210.
Lurker210 has created some PDF documents for download, these can be printed out and allow you to make a 3D model of your chosen Nationite player. This is really useful for those that want to get a good impression of the physical size of a player and to see the screen sizes etc.
So head on over the the forums and to this thread to download and print your very own nationite model
This is one we made earlierĀ :) with the 3D model of the Nationite OS-43 sitting above a real live OS-81(thanks to member hotboxx)

Well they are in and i finally got time to upload all the pictures that i have been snapping of this very lovely and sleek player. The final product looks very impressive, the printing on the back and font is very good and the overall finishing is excellent, i hope you all feel the same way, especially those that have bought and been patiently waiting for this player.
Just to note two quick things to people who are getting this right now, the startup and shutdown logos are actually swapped, this will be changed on all future production models but for those getting the first 260 units will need to update their player with the startup and shutdown (if they want to) when they get it. Second thing to note is that the player still has the default M55 theme, expect a special Nationite Theme
We received a pretty plain email today from JXD and attached to it was a package of images, as of late JXD performance, as a MP4 maker, has been somewhat mixed, their JXD 980 show some serious promise, but the overall poor UI killed the true possibility of what the Sunplus 8000 chip could do.
Well enter the JXD 990, this player apparently, in my internet searching of this player, has been a hidden secret for a bit, not sure what the big deal was, but anyways here are the first renderings of the JXD 990. It will use the Sunplus 8000 chipset, which can perform very well for video, although not as good as the 720p chipset.
Overall, apart from the looks of the player, we think this will be a pretty similar player to that of the JXD 980. it looks to have a 4.3? screen (LTPS maybe), 2MP
No, the entire faceplte isn't a screen, and its not a touch screen either, just thought i would get those two most likely wrong assumptions about this player right out of the way. What i can tell you is that the KO RM2300 is pretty much your standard RK27xx based MP4 player, capable of playing high resolution videos at a decent frame rate, good audio quality and supports numerous audio and video format andĀ it allows for TV out.
What makes this player stand out is its overall design, the sleek look is actually quite impressive, ok so we really don't know how close a real version of the RM2300 would stack up to these rather nice renderings, chances are that the two will differ quite a bit, but what really catches our eye is the front faceplate.
KO claims that they are using a plasm
