I just wanted to start this post with that above picture, to some it may not seem like much, to others, they will understand why i choose that picture, take for a moment a look at the image on the screen of the player and remember that image was take of a video (not paused) at about a +45 angle and even on the still photo you can make out the clarity of the screen. That image really, to me, shouts how good the screen quality is on Hachcas (com back kid) PC90.
Hacha has for the most part of this last year been missing from our line up and news on their new players has been far and few in between and to be honest the stuff they had been releasing was not only not interesting, but looked like a bad joke sometimes. Now they have redeemed themselves with the PC90, it really is a very nice player.

The PC90 is like a smaller (non touch screen) version of the RAmos T8, with a similar styling and body look to it, the player could be easily mistaken for the T8. The player is lighter than the T8 and has a smaller screen, it is one of the first Chinese players to use a 4.0″ screen, this is not out of the ordinary for Hacha to go with a different sized screen than what is normally found, their PA20 was one of the first to use a 3.2″ touch screen.

The PC90 screen it self is a high quality TFT screen capable of displaying 16 million colors and you can certainly make out the quality of the screen and its color capabilities when looking at videos and images, they generally look much sharper on the PC90.

The player also has a small vibration unit built into it, so every time you move to a different option on the menu a small vibration can be felt, a nice feature, but it gets a bit annoying later on, you can’t turn it off either. The UI is a bit better laid out than most other players that are currently using the RK2706 chipset, but i can’t really say it stands out. The music player is a bit hard to use, but this is mainly due to the top button navigation that makes choosing files or scrolling through a lot of files, quite cumbersome. It is a shame the audio is quite good on the player.
The player does have a Delta Sigma audio processor (???) ok i really don’t know what that is, but its supposed to make the audio sound better and it does in comparison to other RK2706 based players. The player does come packed with a large 1800mAh battery allowing for hours of video and audio playback.

The one very interesting thing that came with the player was the stand, the player itself has no speaker, but the small stand has a small speaker built into it. However for its size, the speaker can put out a very loud sound, i was very surprised at how loud (and still clear) the audio was coming out of the stand and the speaker runs of the player, so you don’t need to add any extra battery to the stand. Good thing about the stand is that it works with a lot of other players, so its just not limited to being used with the PC90.
Overall the PC90 is a very nice player, it certainly falls into that higher end more stylish category fo MP4 players, it does come in 8GB and 16GB, so do expect to see this on our site in those two memory siezes very soon.
