Gemei is coming out with a revamped version of their popular X760, the X760+, the two main differences is that this version will be using a new chipset at its core and will also have TV out. There is little information on what chip it will be using at its core, but looking at the low price, it might be fair to speculate that it isn’t using the new Blackfin chip that the new SmartQ T5-II uses, but maybe a Rockchip or Ingenic (Chinachips) chipset. If it does use any of the two latter chips, then it would be the first MP4 player to roll out with built in game emulation capabilities.

The specs for this player seem quite impressive, not only can you play the games on the player itself, but you can use the video out and play the games on your TV while using the player itself as a controller.
The player itself is quite modestly price, RMB599 for the 4GB version - about USD$85 on the Chinese market, however untill we get our hands on one of these to test it out, we can only speculate on how well game emulation is handled on this interesting gadget.
