Ainol seems to be hard at work at developing new and more innovative players, unlike other Chinese MP4 makers who are keen on capitalizing on the touch screen trend, Ainol is sticking to traditional push button navigation, but emphasizing on style and functionality.
The V2000SL, with the SL standing for Slim, is in fact only 10mm thick, with a sleek alloy back, this design is without a doubt an Apple inspired concept, even the front, we can't really give Ainol any props here. However they do stick with using a 3.0" LTPS screen, which is by far one of the best types of screens that any portable media player could have. Sadly we don't believe that Ainol will be using a WVGA LTPS screen like they are using on their new V3000, but rather they seem to be using their standard TFT LTPS screen,
The first images of Ainols V3000 user interface have been released, it looks like a mix between the Onda VX767 UI (which makes us suspect it will be running on the same JZ4740 chip) and a iPhonish UI. The UI looks nice but we have to speculate that it will probably look even nicer on the hi res WVGA screen that is to be used on this player.

The first real images of the previously unknown X780 have hit the internet. We have little information on this new player, simply because the automated translation of the source article is really bad, its hard to make out what the real specs of the player are - one thing the article does make clear, is that this will be able to play MP3 audio format.....yeah.......
Gemei seems to be sticking to their traditional type of design of imitating bricks. The player is hardly the most attractive thing we have seen and resembles a fatter version of the Onda VX757, but it will probably have some good specs, most likely it will have a RK27xx at its core, like most of Gemeis players currently have. This does mean it will have impressive video playback along with quite good audio playback. The bel
The above image from Oppo show conceptual designs for three possible designs for a new Oppo player, unlike previous Oppo players that have stuck to audio and video playback, this player seems intended for more of a gaming use.
Oppo has always been known for their high end players with their own custom built UIs, their latest line of players, SMART, tend to use the new RK2706 chip by Rockchip, this new player design could be indicative of RK2706 chips having game emulation support. It has long been speculated that the new generation media chips from Rockchip and Ingenics would support 8/16/32bit gaming, it was only recently that the first Ingenic media chip player has GBA support, this new Oppo player could be the first Rockchip player to have a such emulation also. Oppo has used ADI
Jack Wong, the CEO Meizu released these images on the official Chinese Meizu forum. Although the UI no longer looks the same as the once very iPhone UI, it still has some resemblance to iPhone. These pictures come ahead a few days before Meizu plans on giving Meizu M8 to some of their more loyal forum users to test and give feedback. Thanks AniMemories.

I recieved some TMSON player samples last week, their B300, which is like the RAmos RM970 and the Onda VX757+, has TV out, a nice TFT screen and a good body design. Overall it is a nicer looking player than the more comparable VX757+, it also has better audio too.
One thing TMSON has already told us in their next firmware update for this player, album art will be supported and if we choose to carry this player we can opt to having a built in FM transmitter.
Ainol dropped us a short email today, informing us of their latest player, little info was passed to us in the email apart from its name, the V3000 and the fact that it would have a 4.3" LTPS screen, at first i wasn't really impressed, 4.3" screen size players have now started to become common for MP4 players, it wasn't till i realized that it was a LTPS Screen.
The screen will support a whopping 800x480 screen resolution, more than twice that of any similar Chinese MP4 player currently on the market. The V3000 would place Ainol in the same league for screen quality as that of the Cowon A3.
Ainols website gives little more information other than the screen specification, along with this emailed picture we got, we have little more information to go on. However from what we do know o
This is the new Ainol v3000 player, this looks to be one impressive video machine with 800x480, widescreen, 16 million color LTPS screen - meet the v2000se`s bigger and more mature older brother !!!!
This looks to one serious video machine, with all that widescreen real estate blasting out full color on the already proven ground of an LTPS screen
What is significant is the resolution, 800x430 .. very high, this means much sharper pictures. If you compare it to the Onda vx767 screen which is 4.3" also bot ONLY 432x240. This Ainol is gonna be one hell of a player
Other specs may be pretty much normal and i imagine Ainol will stick to the Ingenics, chinachip combination for its core system, but this is yet to follow
Now www.mp4nation,net removed the v2000SE player due to falli
Here is the video review i've made of the Teclast T26, its the unbranded version sample sent to us from the Factory on Saturday.
The firmware on this is unstable, the player itself hasn't gone into mass production, so the firmware most likely will be improved prior to even the Teclast version coming out.
Should this be a Nationite player, not that i think this actually adds anything to the brand line, we do have the chance to put our own brand and customize this, the biggest upside is price, it is cheaper than the S:Flo (8GB could be as low as $99 when released). However we are going to wait for a bit and just see if firmware updates improve the player, as it stands right now, the firmware is to unstable to make using this player enjoyable.

We were actually sent this by the producing factory, but it is of the new Teclast M26 that is soon to be released in the China market.

The player will run on a RK2706 chipset (like the S:Flo), will have a 2.6" touch screen (most likely capacitive also), it will have TV Out and (according to the spec sheet we got from the factory) will have a Wolfson audio chip. The player, like that of all RK2706 chip based players will be able to play hi res AVI (Xvid), RMVB and other video formats, aswell as being able to play MP3, WMA, FLAC and APE audio formats. Teclast looks to be pricing this at about RMB499 for the 4GB - about USD$70 - not bad.
