Now i know what you are all thinking, there is just not enough small, 3″ widescreen players out there that can play RMVB - well lucky you, as JXD also thought the same a give us a wholly uninspiring player - the [b]306[/b]
Yes that was sarcasm i am afraid but just deserved i think. JXD have now joined Onda, RAmos and a whole host of other smaller Chinese manufacturers in producing yet another 3″ widescreen player that bears a remarkable resemblance to the RM970 design from RAmos.
This is not a re-brand though as the case design is slightly different and so is the button layout at the top. But what is the same is the use of the Rockchip RK2706 (presumed as this player has PlayFX) so if this player uses the standard firmware from rockchip then it brings nothing to the table at all. But time will tell when more details become available, but on the face of it, this is a rather boring step by JXD who always seemed to make something that little bit different - this is just another player and thats all.
