Newman continue the onslaught of new players with the introduction of the MOMO X5
As can be seen from then pics this is really a copy, externally at least of the Meizu M6 player. Not a bad one to copy though, the M6 is a very popular player, and Newman certainly think so as many of their new payers are designed with Meizu in mind
Things differ inside the player as this one again uses the new Rockchip RK2706 chip, but as with the new Teclast M30 they also use a Wolfson WM8987 to handle the audio side of things, meaning this is really a player based around sound as well as video. All the standard rockchip functions apply here, RMVB and AVI video, music sorting etc.
The player even uses a similar sliding touch panel to the right of the player to navigate around the interface, this interface also resembles the M6 in it layout and style.

So, will this be an alternative to the Meizu, if the price is lower then meizu may have a competitor on their hands, with better video play and cheaper price. Price and memory capacity is unknown at the moment, but this player is due for release soon - so watch this space.
